From Cairo to Alexandria, Mansoura and Asyut, fake trading platforms and WhatsApp groups have reached people who work and save. There is no shame in having trusted. The only mistake is paying twice.
How the loss usually arrives
In Egypt the story often starts in a WhatsApp group or a Facebook ad: a platform paying weekly profits, an "expert" who speaks your dialect, or a friend abroad suggesting an investment. The first withdrawal succeeds to build trust. Then the platform vanishes, or demands a "tax" before you can withdraw.
File a report with the Ministry of Interior's internet investigations department or through hotline 108, and keep the report number. The report matters and establishes your standing, but it does not freeze coins held at a platform outside Egypt.
What a Swiss court can do
If the coins still sit at a custodial exchange, a Swiss interim order, backed by a forensic report tying your transaction hashes to a hosted wallet, can ask for a freeze. A support ticket gives you a number. An injunction gives you a freeze. A freeze is a lock, not a payment.
Trace first, then freeze, then repatriate to a bank account in your name. The fee is 12.5 percent, invoiced only after your bank is paid. No recovery, no fee. We never ask for payment in crypto.
Who calls after a loss
Anyone who calls you knowing the amount you lost and offering to recover it for upfront fees is the second scam. Victim lists are sold. This desk never calls anyone first, never works on Telegram, and never asks for a seed phrase, a private key, AnyDesk, or a crypto payment.

How to send the file
In English or Arabic, whichever is easier. What happened, the platform name, transaction hashes or transfer references, and your report number if you have one. The evaluation is free, confidential, and written. If the file has no endpoint a court can reach, you will be told early and honestly, not after invoices.
