Reporting in Oman
File with the Royal Oman Police cybercrime department and keep the number. Check Capital Market Authority warnings about unlicensed platforms. Keep bank transfers, chats, and every transaction hash.
The report documents the crime and establishes your status. It does not freeze coins held at a platform outside the Sultanate. That is a separate legal instrument, and it is the subject of this page.
The Swiss instrument, without haste
When coins still sit at a custodial exchange, a Swiss interim order, backed by a forensic report tying your hashes to a hosted wallet, can ask a court to freeze them. A support ticket creates a number. An injunction creates a freeze. A freeze is a lock, not a payment.
Trace, then freeze, then repatriate to a bank account you control. The fee is 12.5 percent, invoiced only after your bank is paid. No recovery, no fee. Never a crypto payment. Real files move at the speed of courts: months, not days.
Who calls after a loss
Whoever calls knowing the amount and offering recovery for upfront fees is the second scam. Victim lists are sold. The disgrace is not that you trusted; it would be paying twice. This desk never contacts you first, never works through Telegram, and publishes nothing about you.

In English or Arabic, whichever is easier. What happened, the platform, the hashes or bank references, and your report number if you have one. The evaluation is free and confidential. If the file has no endpoint a court can reach, you will be told early and calmly.
