The UAE is one of the most regulated crypto markets in the world, and the fraudsters adapted: clone platforms, relationship scripts, recovery rooms. If they reached you in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, this desk reads the file.
Report locally first
File through the Dubai Police eCrime portal or your emirate's police app, and keep the report number. Check the platform name against the Securities and Commodities Authority's lists, and if the platform claimed a Dubai licence, check the VARA public register; clones of licensed venues are a known pattern. Keep bank transfer records, chat exports, and every transaction hash.
The local report documents the crime and your status as the victim of record. It does not freeze coins sitting at an offshore exchange. That is a different instrument, and it is why this desk exists.
What a Swiss file adds
When Bitcoin, ether or USDT still sits at a custodial exchange, a Swiss interim order, backed by a forensic report tying your hashes to a hosted wallet, can ask a court to lock those coins. A support ticket creates a case number. An injunction creates a freeze. A freeze is a lock, not a payment.
Three steps. Trace: map the hops from the hashes you kept. Freeze: interim relief against a venue that still holds a balance. Repatriate: if funds move, they move to a bank account you control, in fiat. The fee is 12.5 percent, invoiced only after that bank credit. No recovery, no fee, and never a crypto invoice.
The caller who knows your loss
If someone contacts you about your specific loss offering recovery for an upfront fee, a "tax", or a refundable deposit, you are hearing the second scam. Victim lists are sold. The caller may speak excellent Arabic or English and claim a Zurich or London office. Ask for a surname and a cantonal register entry. Most of these calls end at that question.

Write in English or Arabic, whichever is easier. What happened, the platform if you know it, the hashes or bank references, and your police report number if you have one. The evaluation is free and confidential. If the file has no endpoint a court can reach, you will be told so early, in writing.
